About The Position
If you’re a GM Certified Technician who enjoys tackling complex mechanical challenges, running advanced diagnostics, and helping elevate the team around you, George Gee Liberty Lake is looking for you. Located in the greater Liberty Lake / Spokane area, George Gee Liberty Lake is a highly respected, award‑winning dealership known for quality workmanship and a strong service culture. We are actively hiring skilled GM Certified Technicians to join our Service Department and play a key role in handling intricate repairs and problem-solving where experience truly matters. This role is ideal for a seasoned technician with prior experience servicing Kia vehicles, who takes pride not only in their own work, but in mentoring and supporting newer technicians as they grow. You’ll be trusted with advanced mechanical tasks, diagnostics, and helping maintain the high standards our dealership is known for.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of prior automotive experience
- 3 years if not Kia/Import-related experience
- ASEP Certification required.
- ASEP Certifications will be ask for at interview
- CDK experience preferred
- Must adapt to digital MPI with photo and video inspections
- Driver’s License
- Personal Tools
- Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose automotive problems as they arise
- Conducting inspections, repairing engine failure, repairing mechanical and electrical systems, and replacing parts
- Comply with manufacturer specifications throughout the repair/servicing process
- Mentor and help other technicians on the Service Team
