Requirements
- GM Certification required
- Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in a service department (foreman or service manager level)
- Strong customer-focused mindset with proven leadership skills
- High school diploma or higher
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Driven, accountable, and motivated to improve processes, people, and performance
Responsibilities
- Lead and support service department personnel, setting the tone for productivity, quality, and professionalism
- Assist customers by clearly explaining service needs, repairs, and recommendations
- Ensure customers are informed and confident throughout the service process
- Monitor technician performance and workflow to maximize efficiency and accuracy
- Hire, train, and mentor service team members to build a strong, cohesive department
- Develop department goals, operating budgets, and strategies to drive growth
- Maintain a high Customer Service Index (CSI) by resolving concerns quickly and effectively
- Stay current on GM products, technology, and required training
