As a General Merchandise Expert at Target, you will be part of a team that ensures a consistent experience for guests by managing product availability, pricing, and presentation on the sales floor. This role involves leading processes for General Merchandise areas, including Food & Beverage and Food Service, to provide a fresh and safe shopping experience. Create a welcoming experience by authentically greeting all guests.
Observe and understand guest needs through body language and verbal cues.
Engage with guests to understand their specific needs and provide solutions.
Ensure sales floor is zoned, in stock, and accurately signed and priced.
Execute inbound, replenishment, backroom, and signing processes for GM areas.
Monitor progress and follow processes accurately with attention to detail.
Support guest services such as back-up cashier and digital fulfillment.
Work safely and comply with all safety policies and best practices.
