About The Position

The Glynwood Livestock Apprenticeship is a full-time, hands-on training program designed for young farmers interested in pursuing a career in livestock raising. This 9-month apprenticeship provides participants with essential competencies and technical skills necessary for working on a small-scale diversified livestock operation, focusing on regenerative and pasture-based production methods for various livestock products.

Requirements

• A strong interest in agriculture and livestock management.
• Willingness to learn and work hard in a hands-on environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience or coursework in agriculture or animal husbandry.
• Knowledge of regenerative farming practices.

Responsibilities

• Participate in hands-on training in livestock management and care.
