Summary/Objective The employee is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining the folder gluer machine, ensuring all jobs are completed efficiently, safely, and to established quality standards.

Requirements

Ability to read and follow written job tickets and schedules.
Good math skills
Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, managers, coworkers and customers
2-3 years of experience with the gluer and folder machine

Nice To Haves

Experience on Bobst machine a plus

Responsibilities

Set up, operate folder and gluer equipment.
Correct and/or report any unsafe conditions.
Train apprentice and entry level members as needed.
Suggest ideas for companywide continuous improvement.
Perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance on glue and folder equipment.
Match sample to glue and fold pieces.
Must be able to glue and fold a variety of sizes and types of cartons.
Maintain quality and productivity.
