About The Position

Work with the gluer operator to monitor the feeding of product into the gluer
machinery.
Coordinate with the gluer operator to ensure correct jobs are staged at the
front of the machine.
Observe feeding and folding of material and gluing edges and inform gluer
operator of any issues being experienced on the feeding or packing ends.
Assist with the routine maintenance tasks of cleaning and lubricating the
glue machinery with the gluer operator.
When needed, assist the duties of the packers on the line to ensure they are
keeping up and paying close attention to the quality of the products.
During any “down time” the gluer feeder is working with the gluer packer and
material handler to ensure product is moved and area is staged.
Observe when the gluer operator makes adjustments to the machine components
according to requirements such as widths, lengths, and thickness of materials
and amounts of glue.
Other tasks as assigned by the Team Lead or Finishing Lead.
