About The Position

Global Trading Support Smith is looking to add to the Global Trading Support team. Once you join this team, you will be a part of OneSMITH. At its core, this includes but is not limited to ensuring smooth operations throughout the distribution life cycle. This position is responsible for monitoring and qualifying that all details are properly met within order and inventory validation to meet customer delivery and special requirements. Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end sales order submissions, from quote to SO release, including communication with Operations and support departments
• Support in the completion of documentation requirements and preparatory details required for accurate and timely invoicing
• Reiterate and refresh traders on new policy and compliance requirements
• Coordinate approved system adjustments of sales and purchase orders in preparation for invoicing
• Subject Matter Expert for all things Smith
• Execute inventory validation processes to ensure accuracy, identify discrepancies, and maintain data integrity across proprietary systems
• Serve as a go-to resource for internal tools, internal software application features, and trading best practices
• Provide guidance on escalation paths and issue resolution
• Marshal resources throughout the supply chain in conjunction with customer requirements to ensure accurate forecast, and maximization of opportunity in profit or limitation of loss
• Generate ad hoc reports as directed by management
• Perform company and prospect research
• Assist in mapping large conglomerate structures for trading insights
