About The Position

The Global Trade Finance Analyst I manages all aspects of the Standby Letters of Credit process to ensure timely issuance and adherence to bank policy, including issuance process, maintenance, and fee collection. The Global Trade Finance Analyst I will also manage the Direct Pay Letter of Credit portfolio and the Direct Pay Draws to ensure that monthly and annual interest draws are paid within the required timeframe.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• 1-2 Years of related experience
• Knowledge of standby/international letters of credit and bid and performance bonds
• Organizational ability, with ability to work under tight deadlines
• Ability to successfully and positively communicate with Customers, clients, and internal staff
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• PC skills
• Ability to work with a team preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepares monthly Letter of Credit statistics
• Performs Customer research
• Distributes monthly reports to Senior Management
• May run reports to monitor suspicious and high risk activities
• Ensures that fees are collected and processed correctly
• Monitors reconcilements to ensure any open Standby Letter of Credit transactions are cleared in a timely manner
