Just look up. Are you ready to go beyond? We have an exciting remote opportunity for a Global Trade Authorizations Specialist working as part of our P&W GTRM (Legal GT) GT Authorizations Team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of applicable work experience including at least 1-3 years of direct work experience in Global Trade; OR an Advanced degree and 3+ years of applicable work experience including at least 1-3 years of direct work experience in Global Trade.
  • Understanding of the ITAR and EAR and other applicable laws and regulations governing Global Trade is preferred.
  • Strong computer skills in MS Office.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating the activation and close-out process for various authorizations, ensuring compliance to applicable government requirements and RTX/P&W standard work.
  • Drafting various US and Canadian authorization applications, submitting applications for corporate review and to the applicable government on a timely basis.
  • Working with P&W GTPS teams on the activation, management, and close-out of authorizations.
  • Ensuring that, for each application, all required information is provided and applications are complete and accurate.
  • Supporting the objectives and activities of the AAA team through continuous improvement initiatives to enhance AMP.
  • Preparing regulatory and internal reports in support of P&W GT requirements.
