The Worldwide Environment team (focusing on waste, water, circularity and biodiversity) utilizes science-based approaches to lower Amazon’s environmental impact in the areas of waste, water, and biodiversity across the operations of our business units and products, making meaningful and measurable impacts in the communities in which we operate. We are seeking a Principal Sustainability Specialist for Commodities within the Worldwide Sustainability (WWS) organization, you will serve as a deep subject matter expert (SME) in commodity supply chains, with particular focus on agricultural commodities. You will use broad expertise across supply chain traceability, sourcing practices, and regional risks, to define strategies to measure, abate, and evaluate environmental and social tradeoffs, giving businesses a holistic picture of their impacts in commodity sourcing.
