About The Position

For over 25 years, IJM has pioneered the work to protect vulnerable people from violence. 9 out of 9 times in the last decade, IJM's Justice System Strengthening Projects have reduced slavery and violence between 50 and 85% for very large populations of people in poverty. As we grow to expand our impact to protect 500 million people from violence, we are seeking a Global Survivor Network Intern to join the 2025 Fall Internship class.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree must be in progress for DC Internships and applicants need to have completed at least two years of undergraduate study.
  • Creative and technical writing experience.
  • Experience with Canva.
  • Administrative and project management experience.
  • Cross-cultural experience and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting projects and other key initiatives to scale the work of the Global Survivor Network.
  • Supporting members of the Global Survivor Network as they prepare for speaking opportunities.
  • Creating content for the Global Survivor Network website.
  • Participating in departmental and general IJM administrative support.
