Drive supplier improvement to meet QDCFTSR targets; define sourcing strategies and technical and commercial requirements for new components on truck programs; own segment P&L by leading negotiations, quote strategies, and cost- reduction roadmaps; champion post-SOP product and process changes and coordinate ECNs, APQP/PPAP, and cross-functional launch support; monitor and mitigate supply risk with the Supply Network Resiliency team via capacity studies, dual sourcing, localization, and recovery plans; analyze supplier capacity and constraints to preempt plant impacts and aftermarket shortages; scout, benchmark, and qualify new partners through research and trade-show engagement; leverage global partners to create purchasing synergies on specifications, tooling, and volume bundling; set cost targets and should-cost models, track commodity indices and raw-material trends, prepare executive- ready sourcing recommendations; maintain supplier dashboards and scorecards, drive corrective actions, and report KPI progress against timing and profitability objectives.
