About The Position

As a Global Supply Manager – Ecosystem Devices, you will lead the sourcing and supply strategy for Agility Robotics’ ecosystem devices. These devices represent the physical and digital touchpoints that connect our robots, people, and the world around them, enabling seamless interaction and delivering positive customer outcomes with high reliability. Many of these solutions are delivered through external development and manufacturing partners, requiring strong expertise in managing contract manufacturing (CM), joint design manufacturing (JDM), and original design manufacturing (ODM) relationships. In this role, you will work closely with Engineering, Product, and Solutions teams to identify the right supplier partners, shape manufacturing strategies, and build scalable supply ecosystems that support the deployment and long-term success of our robotic platforms. This role requires a strategic thinker who can build strong supplier partnerships, navigate complex commercial negotiations, and guide suppliers through new product introduction (NPI) and production ramp.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of progressive experience in procurement or supply chain roles, with experience managing contract manufacturing environments.
  • Demonstrated experience working with contract manufacturing (CM), joint design manufacturing (JDM), or original design manufacturing (ODM) partners for hardware products.
  • Strong understanding of turnkey manufacturing models and outsourced product development.
  • Experience negotiating commercial agreements including non-recurring engineering (NRE), tooling, manufacturing capacity, and supply agreements.
  • Experience supporting new product introduction (NPI) and supplier ramp in fast-paced hardware environments.
  • Strong analytical skills including experience developing cost models, supplier benchmarking, and financial analysis.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product, and customer-facing Solutions teams.
  • Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) and material requirements planning (MRP) systems and supplier performance management frameworks.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required (up to 35%).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies for ecosystem devices aligned with Agility Robotics’ product and business objectives.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard contract manufacturing (CM), joint design manufacturing (JDM), and original design manufacturing (ODM) partners capable of supporting device development and scalable production.
  • Lead supplier selection and commercial negotiations including pricing, non-recurring engineering (NRE), tooling ownership, manufacturing agreements, and long-term supply terms.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, and Solutions teams from early concept stages to ensure suppliers receive clear technical requirements, validation criteria, and customer use-case expectations.
  • Drive supplier engagement across the full product lifecycle including concept development, new product introduction (NPI), production ramp, and sustained manufacturing.
  • Establish and maintain the supplier plan of record (SPOR) for ecosystem devices and ensure sourcing readiness aligned with program milestones.
  • Develop cost models and drive continuous cost improvements through should-cost analysis, supplier benchmarking, and value engineering initiatives.
  • Partner with contract manufacturers to ensure manufacturing scalability, supply assurance, and production capacity planning.
  • Oversee supplier performance management across cost, quality, delivery, and reliability metrics.
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks by developing multi-sourcing strategies and business continuity plans.
