Global Supply Management
About The Position
The Global Supply Management Candidate will be responsible for the following activities: Will co-ordinate with Suppliers and internal supply chain teams. Shall involve in supporting Strategic sourcing initiatives, discussions involving costing, negotiation, budgeting, supplier relationship management, supply chain management. Candidate should have basic manufacturing process knowledge, know how to use word processing, spreadsheet and presentation programs and be comfortable speaking in front of groups of peers and managers. GSM will be given direction from a senior GSM on activities from above noted responsibilities and will be expected to complete tasks efficiently and timely.
Requirements
- Supply Chain professional with a strategic sourcing background
- Needs to clearly understand supply chain commercials - what is a supplier quote, Purchase order, invoice etc.
- Need 3+ years of supply chain experience working in a high-tech company
- Should be very strong in spreadsheets - able to perform costing
- Be proficient in creating cost BoM - understand clearly the assemblies, sub-assemblies - leaves, node
- Needs to have an Engineering degree
