This executive role requires a comprehensive understanding of the global metal mechanical fabrication market, particularly in Europe and North America. The position is pivotal in leading strategic initiatives aimed at optimizing our global supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive industry expertise, demonstrate strategic capabilities, and possess a proven track record of operational excellence across various international markets. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and implementing global supply chain strategies that ensure cost-effective sourcing, procurement, and logistics for power transmission and wind energy projects. You will lead cross-functional teams to develop best practices, policies, and procedures related to procurement, supplier management, inventory control, and logistics. Collaboration with regional supply chain teams will be essential to standardize processes and tools, enhancing efficiency and visibility across the global supply chain network. Your responsibilities will also include identifying and evaluating potential global suppliers, negotiating contracts, and forming strategic alliances to optimize the supply base while mitigating risks. You will monitor market trends and geopolitical factors to anticipate changes in supply chain dynamics, driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance performance, reduce costs, and improve quality and delivery reliability. Additionally, you will create key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to measure supply chain performance and provide insights to senior management. As a leader, you will nurture a high-performing global supply chain team, offering guidance and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities. You will manage Service Level Agreements with suppliers, ensuring accountability for response and delivery times, and work closely with internal stakeholders to align supply chain strategies with business goals.
