About The Position

We are seeking a highly experienced Global Strategic Sourcing Director with a strong background in IC, PCBA and semiconductor related industries. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience and 5 years of management experience.

Requirements

• Strong sourcing background, with a minimum of 10 years' experience
• Experience managing locations internationally is required
• Bilingual English and Mandarin Chinese is required
• Experience in sourcing materials in the semiconductor manufacturing industry is required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent negotiation skills and ability to build effective relationships with suppliers
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed

• APICS CSCP is a plus

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for materials and components to support the business objectives of the company
• Manage the US, Taiwan and China sites for sourcing
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers and manage supplier relationships
• Ensure quality standards and delivery schedules are met by suppliers
• Work with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize the supply chain
• Work with contract manufacturers to ensure they meet company requirements
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations and best practices
