About The Position

The Global Strategic Insights Director at GSK is a pivotal role within the Global Strategic Insights Team, responsible for providing unbiased insights and strategic direction for the flu-COVID vaccine. This position involves managing global market research projects to derive customer insights and develop forecasts that inform key decision-making processes, ensuring effective launch planning and evaluation of the vaccine. The role requires building strong relationships with senior commercial leaders and stakeholders across various global markets, emphasizing collaboration and data-driven strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Science, Business, or Marketing.
  • Minimum of 5 years' marketing or market research experience in the Pharmaceutical healthcare industry or a market research agency.
  • Minimum of 5 years commercial analytics experience with the ability to provide insightful commercial and market insights.
  • Ability to travel approximately 10-15% globally.

Responsibilities

  • Develop robust, evidence-based global market valuations and forecasts to support life-cycle ambition and launch planning.
  • Oversee and guide the development and integration of customer insight and analytics to frame business problems and opportunities.
  • Drive strong decision-making and challenge senior stakeholders with robust insights and evidence generation.
  • Act as a trusted strategic partner to drive data-driven strategies and decisions.
  • Foster collaboration with multiple stakeholders beyond the Global Product Strategy team, including R&D, finance, and market access.
  • Contribute to initiatives improving market understanding and forecasting through benchmarking exercises.
  • Train and develop offshore partners to optimize value delivery and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Ensure all market insights and activities are conducted ethically and in accordance with relevant Codes of Conduct.
