About The Position

We are looking for a highly motivated and creative Global Events Intern to join our marketing team. This role offers hands-on experience in creating uniquely Genesys experiences that elevate our brand, accelerate growth through scale, and deliver meaningful, measurable business impact.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Event Management, or a related field.
  • Passion for event marketing and understanding of how events contribute to brand awareness and pipeline generation.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with marketing tools such as Marketo, Cvent, Tableau or similar is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel (if applicable) and participate in onsite event support.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and execution of global marketing events, including Genesys conferences and Tier 1 third party events.
  • Support event promotion strategies by coordinating with content, social media, and demand generation teams.
  • Research and recommend innovative marketing tactics to increase event registrations and engagement.
  • Assist in executing event sponsorships, vendor relationships, and logistical planning.
  • Maintain event project timelines, budgets, and post-event reporting.
  • Coordinate event-related email campaigns, landing pages, and social media assets.
  • Analyze event performance metrics and assist in post-event wrap-up reports.
  • Stay up to date with event marketing trends and suggest new ideas to enhance event success.
