About The Position

Key Responsibilities Own sourcing operational execution by leading the identification, prioritization, and resolution of execution issues across systems, processes, and cross-functional dependencies to ensure consistent and efficient sourcing outcomes. Own the governance of sourcing operational issues by establishing intake, prioritization, escalation, and communication frameworks that ensure timely resolution and appropriate stakeholder alignment. Lead root cause analysis for recurring sourcing operational issues and drives cross-functional alignment on corrective actions, ensuring sustainable improvements to sourcing processes and execution. Serve as the business owner for sourcing operational system issues by defining requirements, prioritizing enhancements, and partnering with IT and support teams to resolve defects and improve system effectiveness. Translate sourcing business needs and operational challenges into clearly defined problem statements, requirements, and prioritized initiatives that guide systems and technology partners. Establish, maintain, and enforce sourcing operational processes, standards, and best practices across global sourcing offices to drive consistency and execution discipline. Lead adoption of standardized tools, templates, and reporting by setting expectations, addressing adoption barriers, and reinforcing consistent execution across sourcing teams. Provide operational leadership across Global Sourcing and enterprise partners by aligning cross-functional teams, resolving execution dependencies, and driving shared accountability for sourcing outcomes. Lead evaluation and execution of sourcing-related operational initiatives, assessing risk, coordinating cross-functional execution, and ensuring alignment to sourcing priorities and timelines. Own sourcing operational risk management by assessing risk severity, determining escalation paths, and providing clear recommendations and tradeoff options to sourcing leadership. Oversee sourcing operational reporting and analysis to assess execution health, identify improvement opportunities, and guide leadership decision-making. Build and sustain strong cross-functional relationships while developing sourcing operational capabilities, execution standards, and ways of working across the organization. Lead sourcing execution through influence by aligning cross-functional partners (e.g., Transportation, Inventory, Product Development, QA, Import) around shared priorities, resolving execution dependencies, and driving collective accountability for results. Diagnose complex, recurring sourcing operational issues, identify underlying systemic causes, and lead cross-functional solutions that improve processes, systems, and ways of working at scale. Serve as the business owner for sourcing operational systems by translating business needs into prioritized requirements, guiding technology partners, and ensuring systems effectively support sourcing execution. Manage sourcing initiatives, partnering across functions to programs and transformational changes to sourcing processes, systems, and operating models.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable
  • 7 years of relevant industry experience
  • 5+ years experience sourcing, merchandising operations, supply chain, or related operational roles
  • Strong understanding of sourcing processes, execution workflows, and cross-functional dependencies
  • Experience supporting global or multi-region sourcing organizations
  • Demonstrated leadership of teams – indirect reports and cross business functions
