About The Position

We are seeking a Global Category Sourcing Manager to join our team in a highly collaborative and supportive environment. This role contributes to the success of the organization’s global sourcing strategy, ensuring the achievement of cost efficiencies, supplier excellence, and the long-term sustainability of the supply chain. Each role is a vital part of our supply chain community, with a focus on building trust, nurturing relationships, and fostering teamwork across the organization. This role would focus on Fasteners, which includes but is not limited to screws, nuts, bolts, washers, and pins. This category consists of a mix between VMI programs and long lead time purchases for domestic distributors and overseas vendors. This role supports manufacturing sites in North America and overseas. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline
2–5 years of experience in Supply Chain or a related field
Demonstrated ability to develop, lead, and manage category strategies and supplier networks
Strong negotiation skills with experience managing complex supplier agreements
Proven track record of initiating and executing projects that reduce cost, enhance productivity, mitigate supplier risk, and expand capacity
Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Agile, Oracle) and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Strong collaborative mindset with effective communication and problem‑solving skills

Nice To Haves

Experience consolidating SKUs and spend across a diverse supplier base
Experience developing SKU and component catalogs
Hands‑on experience with RFQs
Experience managing large tail spend and portfolios of 500+ SKUs

Responsibilities

Lead the development and execution of global sourcing strategies for assigned categories, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and global priorities.
Evaluate market dynamics, supplier capabilities, and commodity trends to identify opportunities that enhance performance and competitive positioning.
Deliver strategic insights and recommendations to leadership to support sourcing initiatives and continuous improvement.
Assess and mitigate supplier risks by developing and implementing effective contingency plans to ensure supply continuity.
Partner closely with cross‑functional teams, including Master Scheduling, Planning, Manufacturing, Distribution Centers, and external suppliers, to meet customer and operational requirements.
Monitor supplier performance, track key KPIs, and drive ongoing improvement across the supply base.

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $80,000 USD - $110,000 USD.
In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
