About The Position

The Global Senior Compensation Analyst at AVEVA plays a crucial role in supporting the design, analysis, and administration of the company's global compensation programs. This position involves managing sensitive compensation data, conducting market pricing and pay gap analyses, and ensuring compliance with ESG reporting standards. The analyst will work closely with various teams to maintain compensation tables and provide insights that drive equitable and competitive compensation practices across the organization.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience with a minimum of 3 years in Compensation, Human Resources, or Finance.
  • Proven experience analyzing complex data sets, identifying trends, and drawing meaningful conclusions with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Previous experience working with HRIS Systems (Workday) and/or Compensation software (CompAnalyst) highly preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills for data manipulation and reporting.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative while also being an effective team member.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with data automation tools and techniques.
  • Familiarity with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting standards.

Responsibilities

  • Provides analytical expertise and support to the Compensation team for timely and efficient data analysis and reporting.
  • Analyzes and provides insights into pay structures, fixed and variable pay, allowances, and overall compensation costs across different regions.
  • Conducts detailed pay gap analyses to identify disparities in compensation based on gender, race, and other diversity metrics, developing actionable recommendations to ensure pay equity.
  • Performs market pricing analyses to compare the organization's compensation levels with industry benchmarks, utilizing survey data to ensure competitive compensation packages.
  • Supports ESG initiatives by preparing and analyzing compensation-related data for reporting and compliance with global standards.
  • Participates in the configuration of the CompAnalyst platform, ensuring data integration with Workday is implemented and troubleshooted as needed.
  • Maintains salary tables in different platforms and seeks opportunities for automation.
  • Ensures compliance with international compensation regulations and prepares necessary documentation for audits.
  • Creates and delivers ad-hoc compensation reports and analyses as requested by leadership.
