About The Position

The company is seeking a Director of Global Sales for its Clinical Trial Financial Suite (CTFS), a next-generation SaaS platform designed to transform how life sciences organizations manage payments and financial processes for clinical trials. The mission of this role is to drive global commercial success, influence product innovation, and deliver exceptional value to clients worldwide.

Requirements

  • Strategic thinker, passionate about sales, and adept at building trust with senior stakeholders.
  • Deep knowledge of clinical trial payments.
  • Has a passion for the sales profession, for prospecting and for finding new solutions to new clients.
  • Ability to manage complex, multi-country engagements and navigate matrixed organizations with a consultative approach.
  • 10+ years in sales, business development, client-facing within pharma or life sciences, with a proven track record of exceeding targets.
  • Exceptional negotiation, influencing, and communication skills; strong customer service orientation.
  • Established relationships within the life sciences industry and ability to leverage them for business growth.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business Management, or related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SaaS solutions strongly preferred.
  • Advanced degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead efforts to identify, develop, and close high-value opportunities, partnering with Business Development Directors who own the account relationships.
  • Support Commercial Lead in defining the go-to-market strategy and operationalize it to achieve sales targets across global markets.
  • Collaborate with Commercial Lead and Solution Engineering to create compelling storyboards and articulate CTFS’s unique value to clients.
  • Work closely with the Product team to provide market intelligence and customer feedback that shapes future enhancements.
  • Partner with Inside Sales to design and execute targeted campaigns that generate qualified leads.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
  • Operate effectively within IQVIA’s global matrix organization, driving alignment across multiple teams and geographies.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings to position CTFS effectively.
