The Boeing Company is seeking an engineering Senior Manager, Global Safety & Regulatory Affairs covering the North America, Central America, and Latin America regions. Primary focus of the role is leading resolution of Boeing and industry-level regulatory issues alongside Washington DC-based Boeing and external stakeholders. The position is based in Boeing's Arlington, VA office, is embedded with the Boeing Government Operations organization. The position represents the Chief Aerospace Safety Office and the Safety, Security and Airworthiness (SS&A) organization, and reports directly to the Director of Global Regulatory Affairs. A top priority of the role is to represent enterprise engineering interests on regulatory, policy, and safety issues to governments and aviation regulatory organizations in the region. The position is responsible for formulating and executing key regulatory engagement strategies to meet Boeing’s business goals and objectives. It collaborates closely with leadership teams in ET&T Safety, Security & Airworthiness, BCA and BGS Engineering, Boeing Government Operations, Boeing Global, and multiple external industry regulatory bodies such as FAA, GAMA, and AIA.
