As we grow to expand our impact to protect 500 million people from violence, we are seeking a Global Risk Data & Analytics Fellow to join our Global Risk team. The Risk subfunction is designing a risk management framework and setting enterprise risk strategy, while providing risk management support across the organization. The Global Risk Data & Analytics Fellow is a unique opportunity for a data-driven and risk-minded professional to apply private sector rigor to non-profit risk management.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience
Proficiency in analytics tools, data science, and data risk management
Advanced Excel and experience with trend analysis and developing metrics
Ability to translate complex data for non-technical audiences and develop data requirements from scratch
Comfort with articulating data journey and alternative options for sourcing data in absence of quality data
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication

Experience in Finance or Risk in corporate setting preferred

Responsibilities

Designing and identifying data sources and needs to Risk Management information dashboards and other analytical activities
Supporting documentation (data dictionaries and methodology logs), data cleaning and creation, and stakeholder coordination
Executive data availability and integrity audits
Supporting projects such as platform and data needs assessments, risk data monitoring feasibility, and predictive risk modeling
Business case development for digital twins and agentic support, including use case proposals for AI for Risk
Key metric and dashboard design
Participating in departmental and general IJM administrative support
