Corbion is seeking an experienced maintenance and reliability engineer with an international outlook and well developed people skills with a knack for training. As our Global Reliability Engineer you work with the rest of the Maintenance & Reliability Engineering team to support the development and implementation of global maintenance strategies. In this role, you will analyze the performance of maintenance programs and support the local maintenance teams to improve the equipment's efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Implement reliability and work management improvement projects
  • Develop and optimize preventive and predictive strategies; implement and supervise precision maintenance techniques
  • Develop new processes and lead continuous improvement initiatives
  • Train and coach engineering and maintenance staff
  • Implement innovative technologies such as the Industrial Internet Of Things (IIOT) and advanced predictive technology
  • Advise project department on design, material choice, lay-out and equipment selection
  • Troubleshoot complex problems, recurrences and high impact failures
  • Ensure equipment and installations are compliant with current internal and regulatory standards
  • Actively participate in global engineering team: share knowledge, learn best practices and develop new initiatives that advance the global reliability and maintenance team and our various locations
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Master's Degree is a plus
  • At least 5 years of experience in reliability engineering including at least 3 years in the process industry
  • Previous success implementing maintenance and reliability technologies including predictive maintenance
  • Experience using maintenance management system; SAP PM experience is a plus
  • Trained in predictive techniques, preferably level II Vibration Analyst
  • Accomplished FMEA and RCM facilitator with experience training/coaching culturally diverse maintenance staff in various locations, in both reliability engineering and work management
  • Effective communication skills within international organization
