Join Avantor as a Global Relationship Manager and lead innovation in the biopharma industry! You will promote Avantor as a leading manufacturer and supplier of chemicals, serum, and single-use products & services for biologic-related manufacturing processes. In this highly visible role, you will represent Avantor's differentiated capabilities—including custom manufacturing, single-use solutions, and high-purity chemicals—across global accounts engaged in biologics and mRNA therapeutic manufacturing. Your mission: Deepen strategic relationships, drive global alignment across customer sites, and unlock new opportunities by positioning Avantor as an indispensable partner in scientific advancement.

  • Lead global strategic account management for high-value biopharma and CDMO customers.
  • Align cross-functional stakeholders across geographies to drive long-term value creation.
  • Develop and execute global growth strategies in collaboration with regional sales teams, product management, and technical experts.
  • Champion Avantor's unique value proposition, including innovation in custom single-use solutions, GMP chemicals, and services.
  • Engage senior decision-makers and facilitate executive-level discussions.
  • Manage complex contract negotiations and multi-year agreements.
  • Identify and qualify new growth areas, including co-development opportunities and portfolio adoption acceleration.
  • Serve as a customer advocate internally, ensuring best-in-class service and timely issue resolution.
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Life Sciences, Chemical/Genetic Engineering, or a related field, or applicable work experience.
  • 8+ years Sales in biopharmaceutical manufacturing or related life sciences industry.
  • Proven track record in strategy creation and achieving sales targets.
  • Proficiency with CRM applications and office software (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
  • Proven expertise in sales negotiation and global/key account management.
  • Experience in executing global company strategies to achieve sales growth.
  • 5+ years Proficiency in CRM and global accounts strategy formulation.
  • Experience in negotiating and managing complex global contracts.
  • Skill in facilitating senior-level customer presentations.
  • Deep understanding of the biopharma ecosystem, manufacturing workflows, and industry trends.
  • Advanced degree or MBA.
