As a Global Real Estate Control Manager - Vice President within JPMorganChase, you will lead the charge in identifying and mitigating compliance and operational risks. Your role is crucial in enhancing our control environment through development and execution of risk and control frameworks for our Design & Construction and Data Centers initiatives. You will leverage your expertise in risk management and control design to identify issues, manage escalations, drive remediation, and validate controls while engaging closely with operational risk, compliance, audit, and business leaders. Through your efforts, you will ensure that our real estate projects, from initial design through construction and ongoing operations, meet the highest standards of risk management and operational excellence, making a meaningful impact on the firm's resilience and success.

Requirements

• Demonstrated expertise in control management, with a focus on compliance and operational risk mitigation, showcasing skills equivalent to five (5) or more years of experience.
• Capability to identify and develop process enhancement opportunities to safeguard business operations, ensuring robust control environments.
• Advanced proficiency in data analysis and tech literacy, leveraging these skills to enhance control environments and interpret business needs and trends.
• Expertise in contributing to diverse teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and aligning team performance with operational policies and precedents.
• Strong skills in internal stakeholder management, facilitating effective communication and collaboration to drive mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Strong project management skills and a commitment to operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve comprehensive control strategies to identify and mitigate compliance and operational risks in support of GRE’s Design & Construction and Data Centers programs.
• Utilize advanced data and tech literacy skills to interpret business needs, identify trends, and generate innovative solutions to enhance the control environment.
• Drive a proactive risk and control culture by leveraging proven evaluation strategies and change management protocols.
• Engage with control colleagues, business executives, operational risk, compliance, audit, and technology teams to ensure integrated risk management across functions.
• Partner with internal stakeholders, facilitating open communication and collaboration to drive mutually beneficial outcomes and uphold the integrity of our operations.
