The Global Product support manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the New Product Development (NPD) process, product data structure, product master data management, tools, and operational efficiency. This role will be responsible for centralizing and standardizing product management operations, ensuring cross-functional and cross-regional alignment, and leading efforts to structured product data for improved decision-making and efficiency.

  • Develop and implement standardized NPD processes to improve efficiency.
  • Manage the new PLM product management tool.
  • Identify and deploy tools for data analytics, project tracking, and master data management (MDM).
  • Develop training programs for global teams on product tools, workflows, and data management best practices.
  • Lead cross-functional alignment efforts across developing common processes and data structure.
  • Monitor new product introductions; provide data to marketing team for NPI publications.
  • Manage off shore Product Coordinator team and provide direction as needed.
  • Act as a point of contact for troubleshooting and issue resolution related to products.
  • Assist with new product rollouts, coordinate communications internally to ensure thorough and timely completion.
  • Coordinate training sessions for end-users and support teams.
  • Establish and track KPIs for product development efficiency, data integrity, and launch success.
  • Lead the clean-up, organization, and governance of master product data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and usability across systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, International Trade, or related field. MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience combined product management, data management or content management, ideally in the automotive aftermarket or industrial distribution.
  • Proven track record in process improvement, project management, managing new product releases and product launches.
  • Familiarity with automotive aftermarket, parts distribution, or adjacent sectors (e.g., industrial goods, e-commerce B2B/B2C) is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of product and catalog management tools.
  • Fluent in English. Spanish preferred.
