Eaton's IS VEH VGGP Automotive Vehicle division is currently seeking a Global Product Strategy Manager. This role is pivotal in developing and executing the strategic direction for the Fuel and Boosting OEM product line, which includes products such as Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) Superchargers. The Global Product Strategy Manager will lead the growth strategy and oversee all aspects of product marketing, product development strategy, profitability, and technology roadmaps while supporting the global manufacturing strategy. The primary function of this position involves identifying customer needs for the Fuel and Boosting product line globally through frequent customer visits, thereby developing and strengthening relationships with key contacts and decision-makers. The manager will also develop Eaton's perspective on technical trends that will be adopted by the market, ensuring that product development and engineering activities align with profitable growth. This includes collecting and communicating Voice of Customer (VoC) inputs to generate future innovations that address customer needs. In addition, the Global Product Strategy Manager will take a lead role in building consensus on the product technology roadmap, translating VoC into portfolio improvements and adjacencies. The role requires identifying product portfolio competitiveness gaps that must be closed to ensure profitable growth and developing an organized and coordinated cadence with Eaton's sales team and account managers to proactively engage with customers' advanced engineering and product development teams. The manager will also analyze market trends and evolving regulatory requirements to craft presentations that articulate new opportunities in specific segments. This hybrid role requires on-site presence Tuesday through Thursday at one of Eaton's Michigan locations: Southfield, Galesburg, or Marshall. The position demands a self-starter who can build positive relationships at all organizational levels and communicate effectively to motivate and influence change.
