The Global Product Director - Vaccines Portfolio is an integral part of our Marketing team based out of our US - Teaneck, NJ site.
As the Global Product Director, you will be responsible for the strategic direction, development, and commercial success of our Global Licensed and Autogenous vaccines portfolio for Poultry, Cattle and Swine including: TAbic IBVAR206, MB-1, TAbic V.H., Tailor Made, PhiShield and other differentiated vaccines. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, R&D, Product Development, BD, and Regulatory Affairs, to ensure the effective positioning and growth of our products in the market. Requirements

• A motivated self-starter, work well in groups and demonstrate excellent customer service.
• Ability to influence and motivate others.
• Ability to do formal presentations to large groups of technical and non-technical people.
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external clients.
• Extensive client interaction skills.
• Advanced analytical skills to confidently provide recommendations based on report analysis.
• MBA degree in Animal Science.
• Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in product management, product development, or a related role within the animal health and nutrition industry, with a focus on ruminants.
• Demonstrated in poultry health, specifically with biologic products.
• Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
• Fluent in English.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Animal Science, Doctor in Veterinary Medicine, will be a plus.
• Experience in international markets is desirable.
• Experience with Biologic products for Swine and Cattle is desirable.
• Portuguese or Spanish will be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the strategic vision for the vaccines portfolio for poultry, swine and ruminants, ensuring alignment with overall company goals.
• Product Development: Lead the development and launch of new products, from concept through commercialization, ensuring they meet market needs and regulatory requirements.
• Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats, and adapt strategies accordingly.
• Technical Expertise (general knowledge, not an expert): Provide recommendation and general knowledge and support to the sales team, customers, and industry stakeholders regarding the vaccines portfolio.
• Customer Engagement: Engage with key customers, Veterinarians, Health Managers, and industry influencers to understand their needs and build strong relationships.
• Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to develop sales strategies, training programs, and promotional materials that effectively communicate product benefits and features.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all products comply with relevant regulatory standards and work closely with regulatory bodies to facilitate product approvals.
• Product Life Cycle management: lead product lifecycle management activities for key products, partner with our R&D/Product development teams to build strong and sustainable lifecycle plans.
• Budget Management: Manage the portfolio's budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of product strategies, including Sales, marketing, R&D, Product Development, BD and Regulatory Affairs.
• Performance Monitoring: Regularly review portfolio performance and KPIs, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Travel: Ability to travel up to 30-40% of the time (US and international) to meet with stakeholders and attend industry events.
