About The Position

The Manager, Global Procurement - Facilities, Capital Equipment & Logistics is responsible for developing and driving strategy for our responsible categories such as facilities services, capital equipment, and construction. They work collaboratively with teammates as well as cross-functionally with partners across all Regeneron campuses. The Manager owns supplier relationship, actively participates in supplier selection, and manages ongoing performance and service delivery. The role requires 4 days/week onsite, based at our Corporate offices in Tarrytown, NY. This is not open to fully remote-based work arrangements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 7+ years meaningful FC&L sourcing experience.
  • Solid understanding of sourcing contracting, ERP, RFx.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Suite.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.

  • Some amount of sourcing in pharma/biotech is preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently with outstanding results.
  • Flexibility to handle multiple projects and excitement to bring life changing medicines to patients.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the definition and implementation of the global Facilities, Capital and Logistics Category strategy to serve global and regional business needs as assigned.
  • Works closely with stakeholders to manage discussions related to the global Facilities, Capital and Logistics Categories and aligns category priorities with Procurement management and stakeholders.
  • Manage negotiations, supplier management activities, and stakeholder engagement activities for the global Facilities, Capital and Logistics Category as assigned.
  • Leading and collaborating with others to solve issues of diverse scope and provide analysis considering current business trends.
  • Continuous Improvement projects to improve efficiency and produce high quality work.
  • Negotiating internally and externally to get the best value for Regeneron.
  • Drafting and negotiating contracts (regional/global), while working with internal legal department that will bring Regeneron to the next step as this is critical for Regeneron.
  • Develop and implement category strategies for area of responsibility, including development and management of RFx, supplier selection etc to ensure top performance validated by Regeneron KPIs.
