About The Position

As the Global Payroll & Tax Manager at Storable, your role will involve overseeing and executing the payroll processes for an organization with a global footprint. This is a hands-on management role responsible for running day-to-day payroll operations, supporting new and existing global pay programs, managing relationships for outsourced payroll services in international locations, and driving process standardization, automation, and improvement in the controls for payroll globally.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 10+ years of global payroll and tax experience with multinational corporations or divisions, specifically running payroll in India, Australia, and multi-state USA.
  • 3+ Years ADP WorkforceNow and ADP Celergo Experience.
  • 2+ years experience running payroll in both India and Australia.
  • Expert-level knowledge of US payroll, including compliance with Federal and State taxes and a thorough understanding of applicable international payroll laws and taxes.
  • Experience using GSuite (Gmail, Sheets, Docs, GCal etc).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using Jira Service Desk or other ticketing queues.
  • Experience managing Remote.com EOR and/or Globalization Partners EOR.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the setup of the payroll system, including earning codes, deduction codes, memo codes, and tax configurations.
  • Process timely, accurate, and complete payrolls for 35+ states across the USA, in addition to India and Australia.
  • Work with EOR partners to process payroll for Canada, Romania, or other countries as required.
  • Lead cross-functionally with Accounting and Finance to facilitate bonus payments, off-cycle checks, reimbursements or other relevant tasks.
  • Administer Storable’s 401k plan, assisting with Form 5500s, annual audits, compliance testing, and assisting employees with questions as needed.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to manage monthly and quarterly processes such as generating W-2s and regulatory forms.
  • Collaborate closely with Accounting on transactions, coding and ensuring we are supplying timely month-end close reports and payroll registers.
  • Direct internal control procedures in accordance with management and internal audit expectations to ensure continuous compliance.
  • Support Storable’s entry into new countries by supporting the implementation and use of legacy payroll systems and integration into Storable’s payroll and HRIS system.
  • Partner with international HR teams to set and maintain standards. Assist in establishing payroll in each country as necessary.
