GENERAL FUNCTION: Under minimum supervision, performs defined essential duties and responsibilities within the Global Payments Support Services group and areas encompassed within Global Payments: Global Funds Transfer and ACH Operations Services. Position will be responsible for performing research and investigative functions, reconciliations, Sarbanes Oxley test and administration of Business Continuity Plan administration. Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank’s risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis on Business Administration &/or Finance &/or International or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum three years of experience in Banking, Compliance, or Operations encompassing one or more of the product groups supported by Global Payments; ACH, Global Funds Transfer or Trade Services highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Performs secondary review and verification of high value payment processing including international foreign denominated checks and wires.
  • Assessment and oversight of removal of funds transfer services associated with Deposit Account Control Agreement within quality and productivity service level standards.
  • Act as a liaison with Treasury Management and Legal in administering contract execution and servicing for Deposit Account Control Agreements.
  • Facilitate commercial payment origination and processing of negotiable paper instruments for Commercial and International high value customers.
  • Research and reconciliation of international correspondent NOSTRO accounts including resolving exception items and high dollar transactions within prescribed service level standards.
  • Monitors inbound/outbound fraud related/anti-money laundering payment activity according to federal regulations and associated procedures accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Effectively route high dollar international USD payments to third party international clearing banks.
  • Perform general analytics and execution of defined payment related credit risk exceptions by referencing multiple internal applications to assess associated bank driven risk tolerances (i.e. acct balance, established credit limits, bank exposure amount, past historical activity).
  • Responsible for all facets of line of business compliance program to ensure full compliance with state and federal laws, rules and regulations (i.e. E, NACHA, FFIEC).
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with internal sales and support teams and other internal and external customers.
  • Utilizes multiple servicing systems for research and processing (i.e. Mobius, PEP+, MTS, CRM, SPOT, ACE, SWIFT, EDI, FTD).
  • Assists with the planning, testing and implementation of new applications, enhancements, oversee the process, testing of the Self-Assessment Plans and Sarbanes Oxley Testing, ensuring RCSA documents is accurate and correct according to procedures.
  • Conduct the monthly inventory audits of negotiable paper instruments.
  • Review operational procedures & methods, recommending changes for improvements with an emphasis on automation and efficiency.
  • Execute End of Day process applications.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work efficiently with a low margin of error.
  • Mentor and train/cross-train the more junior staff members within the group.
  • Other duties as assigned.
