Mercury Systems Operations organization is hiring a Global Order Services Specialist to support our customer returns. As a Global Order Services Specialist, you have a passion for processes that assist our Global Returns Team (GRT) and Site RMA Coordinators. You have a "roll up your sleeves" mentality. Your organizational and analytical skills enable you to be a natural problem solver. You can analyze an issue to determine the best course of action and drive to resolution. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Operations, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Typically requires 2-4 years of experience in returns order management or similar customer-facing role, ideally in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excel Skills are a must
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle and organize multiple time sensitive projects at once
  • Ability to use solid judgement in resolving issues or in making recommendations

Responsibilities

  • Support global RMA operations across all Mercury facilities
  • Collaborate with peers and others to develop, enhance, and communicate operational processes and procedures in support of corporate objectives.
  • Compiles and distributes routine order management reports related to the RMA orders status, holds and issues
  • Review all incoming customer returns purchase orders for completeness and accuracy
  • Coordinates and processes domestic and international RMA orders
  • Interfaces frequently with other departments and customers to manage RMA order receipt, review, and ongoing status.
  • Anticipate and identify issues and initiate actions to ensure orders are processed timely and efficiently
  • Work with site RMA coordinators to understand and communicate commits and statuses to customers
  • Lead and assist in special projects as assigned, preparing timely and accurate results
  • Contribute ideas and provide reasonable and creative solutions to improve current processes
  • Ad-hoc reports, audits and projects as required
