About The Position

The C2BMC Next Program, based in Colorado Springs, CO, is seeking a Systems Engineer to provide oversight and management for all C2BMC-Global (C2BMC-G) operations, including health monitoring and status reporting. Your primary responsibilities will be to Direct day-to-day C2BMC-G activities to ensure the availability, quality, and security of services essential to mission systems, command and control (C2), and information sharing. This role involves collaboration with the C2BMC Regional CWO and the C2BMC Command Center Lead.

Requirements

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
Active and transferable Top Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Proficiency in Project Management Tools: Experience using Microsoft Project, Jira, or similar platforms for scheduling, task management, and tracking project progress.

Risk Management: Skilled in identifying potential risks, developing mitigation strategies, and implementing proactive solutions to ensure project success.

Cross-Functional Leadership: Proven ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring alignment across engineering, operations, and program leadership to achieve objectives.

Responsibilities

Direct day-to-day C2BMC-G activities to ensure the availability, quality, and security of services essential to mission systems, command and control (C2), and information sharing.
Collaborate with the C2BMC Regional CWO and the C2BMC Command Center Lead.
Ensure all reports are accurate, keep leadership informed, recommend appropriate courses of action, and maintain real time status of all systems.
Preserve operational integrity by guaranteeing crew members are properly trained, certified, and capable of executing assigned missions.
Manage shift staffing, conduct thorough change over briefings, and verify proper manning levels.
Work on a rotating 12-hour schedule that may include nights, weekends, and off shift substitutions; eventual 24X7 coverage is expected based on mission needs.
Perform other related tasks and assignments as required.
