The position involves leading flagship medical programs as defined by the Global Medical Affairs (GMA) Strategy Team and sub-teams. The role requires leading GMA-driven evidence generation while considering medical, scientific, regulatory, and commercial factors. The incumbent will support multi-disciplinary matrix teams through complex decisions and collaborate with other Medical Strategy Team (MST) members, Commercial and Clinical stakeholders to establish a medical strategy aligned with the cross-functional plan. The role also includes investigating and analyzing major trends to make strategic decisions related to the brand, directing the development of synopses and protocols, and providing medical oversight for Phase 3b/4 studies. The position requires developing and maintaining external relationships through various channels to deliver Takeda's scientific objectives and managing budgets for specific cost centers.
