The Global Medical Director for Rare Hematology will play a critical role as medical lead for one of the products in Sanofi Rare Hematology portfolio. The global medical director is accountable for global medical strategy, assuring alignment with multiple functions within the company, and drives execution of Global medical activities related to investigator and expert outreach, evidence generation (e.g., investigator sponsored trials, company sponsored non-registration studies, RWE), publications, CME, and other medical affairs activities (e.g., medical congresses). As part of the execution of Sanofi strategy, he/she will work closely with Sanofi Global and Country Medical Affairs organizations, as well as with Clinical Development, Health Economics and Value Assessment (HEVA), Commercial, Market Access, and Regulatory functions. This position will report to the Global Head of Rare Hematology Medical Affairs. The position requires the ability to work effectively in a highly matrixed environment; being team oriented with outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively. A strong commitment to achieving corporate objectives while maintaining the highest ethical, regulatory and scientific standards is required.
