About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Global Medical Affairs, Oncology Intern to join our Global Medical Affairs team for Summer 2026. This internship offers hands-on exposure to the strategic and operational activities that support the safe and effective use of oncology therapies across global markets. The intern will work closely with Global Medical Affairs colleagues and cross-functional partners, gaining insight into medical strategy, evidence generation, scientific communications, congress planning, and insight generation. This role is designed to provide meaningful project ownership, professional development, and exposure to the pharmaceutical industry within a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program, majoring in life sciences (e.g., Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biomedical Sciences, or related field)
  • Strong interest in oncology, pharmaceuticals, and/or medical affairs
  • Must be available to work from May 26 to August 14, 2026
  • Must be able to work a hybrid schedule (2 days per week on-site in Princeton, NJ)
  • Must live within a commutable distance of Princeton, NJ
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent and ongoing basis

Nice To Haves

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to understand and summarize scientific information
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word); familiarity with SharePoint or similar tools is a plus
  • Prior coursework or experience related to oncology, clinical research, or healthcare is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Support Global Medical Affairs Oncology initiatives, including strategic planning, operational execution, and cross-functional coordination
  • Assist with the development, review, and organization of medical and scientific materials such as slide decks, summaries, trackers, and internal documentation
  • Contribute to insight generation activities by supporting the collection, synthesis, and organization of insights from internal and external scientific engagements
  • Support medical congress planning and execution activities, including preparation of materials and timelines
  • Assist with basic data analysis, reporting, and dashboard updates to support ongoing Medical Affairs projects
  • Participate in team meetings and collaborate with colleagues across Global Medical Affairs, Medical Communications, and other functions as appropriate
