  • Creates a detailed, finite production schedule by work center across the global business circuit and plant sites
  • Ensures a frozen schedule one week in advance
  • Understands, makes decisions and can communicate utilizing ATP terminology
  • Ensures the availability of raw materials, semi-finished and finished parts to fulfill internal and external demand
  • Monitors adherence to production schedule and works closely with operations daily to resolve any impact of manufacturing running ahead or behind
  • Identifies near-term capacity constraints and provide resolution recommendations for systemic issues to Master Planner and EVSM
  • Identifies resolution and schedule adjustment, as necessary, due to high scrap rate and/or requirements associated with remakes and rework of production
  • Identify any service or production risks of near-term orders due to changes in replenishment plan or inbound receipts
  • Conducts “what-if” scenario analysis to identify the early impact of planned and unplanned schedule changes including but not limited to demand or supply changes, or unplanned adjustments to schedules
  • Documents current process and seek feedback to support continuous improvement initiatives to improve the process.
  • Manage and execute key performance indicators including but not limited to on-time start, overdue planned orders, and resolution of exception messages
  • Validate data including but not limited to lead times, dates in system, and capacities drive corrective actions
  • Responsible for employee recruitment and development, assessing and providing training needs as appropriate of the production planning staff.
  • Provides motivation, coaching and direction to all direct reports to ensure they reach their full potential
  • Conducts performance reviews, setting objectives in line with the Global Delivery Leader and the Manufacturing strategy and goals
  • Gives appropriate feedback on performance and deals with any performance related issues with the assistance of HR.
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, engineering or other associated field of study
  • 2-5 years’ experience in supply chain management
  • Skills In-depth understanding of supply chain concepts and scheduling fundamentals
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to generate insights from quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to read data in context and identify patterns
  • Develop creative solutions to complex problems.
  • Competent to make decisions within defined parameters
  • Behavior Well-organized and high level of attention to detail
  • Motivated to drive business results versus personal preferences, and in group achievement
  • Ability to work within high-performing teams and is highly collaborative.
  • Knowledge Proficiency in SAP S/4 Hana
  • This position requires U.S. Person status as defined by applicable law for authorized access to data controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). A U.S. Person includes U.S. Citizens, U.S. Nationals, lawful permanent residents, and workers granted refugee or asylum status in the United States.
