About The Position

NTT DATA is seeking a highly experienced Global Markets Project Manager in the Charlotte, NC area with 10+ years of experience in the financial domain and a strong background in project management within global markets and/or financial services. This on-site Global Markets Project Manager will lead cross-functional projects supporting our international markets business. This role is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects on time, within scope, and on budget, while ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, experience in global financial markets, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments and geographies.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate experience managing complex, cross-functional projects.
  • Proficiency with project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Asana).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Global Markets, Capital Markets, and/or Financial Services Project Management role.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in stakeholder management experience engaging stakeholders across functions (e.g. Risk, Capital, Legal, Technology, Operations, Sales/Trading)

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead efforts to integrate FICC and Equities securities lending businesses.
  • Collaborate with technology and operations teams to ensure successful delivery of 2026 milestones.
  • Workstream Support – Margin Capabilities
  • Support build-out of a simplified margin settlement workflow leveraging Operational Payment Netting (OPN).
  • Coordinate enhancements to margin calculations and ensure alignment with Risk & Capital requirements and model validation reviews.
  • Monitor dependencies such as client onboarding and key dependencies within other programs.
  • Program Governance & Delivery
  • Manage creation of program materials to report on progress to Steering Council and Operating Council.
  • Maintain JIRA deliverables, track milestones, and oversee both technical and non-technical deliveries.
  • Support management of program financials, including addressing oversubscription risks, tracking and reporting of program benefits.
  • Ensure timely completion of BRDs, Development, UAT, and go-live activities for 2026 deliverables.
