About The Position

As an Analyst in Global Markets Financial Planning & Analysis (GM FP&A), you will deliver managerial reporting, financial analysis, and planning support for the Global Markets business. This includes coverage of Sales & Trading (Foreign Exchange and Rates Derivatives) and Treasury, as well as consolidation across GM products within both bank and securities entities. The role requires strong collaboration with business and finance partners and focuses on providing accurate, timely, and consistent financial insights to support strategic decision-making.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of Finance and Accounting fundamentals
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Solid analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate needs and take initiative
  • Intellectual curiosity about GM business and regulatory environment

Nice To Haves

  • experience with Oracle Smart View and Hyperion Planning is a plus
  • Familiarity with GM products preferred (not required)

Responsibilities

  • Expense & FTE Management: Perform reconciliations, variance analysis, and provide insights to support budgeting and forecasting
  • Reporting: Prepare monthly detailed expense and T&E reports for desks; generate monthly expense report to Tokyo Head Office and quarterly expense review materials
  • Consolidation & Allocations: Support overall GM consolidation, reporting across products, and performance allocation processes between product and coverage groups
  • Transfer Pricing Control: Facilitate data submissions and assist with verification processes
  • Management Information: Assist in preparing materials for key meetings and presentations
  • System Maintenance: Maintain and update management reporting systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency in BAU reporting
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to automation and optimization initiatives to streamline reporting and enhance efficiency
