About The Position

The role involves driving sales for UBS's data and digital business within the financial industry. Requirements

  • A university degree in a numerate subject, finance, or economics.
  • At least 5+ years of experience in financial market data sales.
  • Working knowledge of financial markets and a good understanding of quantitative investment management.
  • Skills to win and grow business within existing relationships.
  • Solid understanding of the end-to-end technology lifecycle, with knowledge of AI and ML.
  • A solution-oriented, motivated, and self-challenging personality.
  • Quantitative knowledge and/or familiarity.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain strong client and partnership relationships through regular contact and face-to-face meetings.
  • Drive the entire sales cycle, including in-person and remote demos of data and tools, negotiating, and closing opportunities.
  • Build a deep, working knowledge of data sets and help curate new data sets.
  • Demonstrate involvement in marketing strategy, content authoring, and event planning, including hosting internal education sessions.
  • Follow regulations, compliance policies, desk policies, limits, and guidelines.
