The Global Manager, MineStar Performance Center of Excellence (CoE) is a senior leadership role responsible for defining and driving Caterpillar’s global performance enablement strategy for MineStar. This leader turns performance concepts into scalable, deployable, and sustainable solutions that deliver measurable value to customers operating some of the most complex mining environments in the world. This role provides end‑to‑end leadership across the full performance lifecycle, from concept development and solution industrialization to global deployment and knowledge governance. The Global Manager leads a diverse, high‑impact organization of more than 40 professionals worldwide, including Caterpillar employees and strategic delivery partners. This role sits at the intersection of technology, operations, and customer value. You will influence how MineStar Performance solutions are designed, deployed, and sustained globally; helping customers unlock productivity, safety, and efficiency at scale while shaping the future of mining performance enablement at Caterpillar.

Requirements

  • Technical Excellence: Strong knowledge of mining operations, site realities, and operational constraints. Ability to translate performance concepts into scalable, deployable solutions. Experience working with product development (NTI/NPI), engineering, analytics, and deployment teams.
  • Relationship Management: Demonstrated experience leading large, complex, and multi-disciplinary teams. Strong leadership presence and stakeholder alignment skills
  • Service Excellence: Ability to operate across performance methodology, technology, data, and operations.
  • Consulting: Proven ability to translate strategy into execution and sustained results.
  • Effective Communications: Excellent communication skills for both technical and executive audiences.
  • Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in Mining Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related technical field.
  • Experience with MineStar solutions and performance enablement.
  • Exposure to analytics, operational improvement, or technology deployment.
  • Experience working across regions and diverse operating models.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the global MineStar Performance Center of Excellence, setting the vision, strategy, and operating model for performance enablement worldwide
  • Provide unified leadership across NTI, NPI, Deployment, and Knowledge teams, ensuring seamless integration and execution
  • Translate performance concepts into practical, site‑ready solutions that are scalable, sustainable, and grounded in operational reality
  • Establish and govern standards for solution readiness, quality, sustainability, and long‑term support
  • Set priorities and drive alignment across the performance lifecycle while ensuring strong handoffs between teams
  • Provide strategic oversight of the MineStar knowledge ecosystem, ensuring it evolves in step with product capability and deployment needs
  • Partner closely with regional leaders, product teams, engineering, analytics, and dealers to deliver customer value at scale
  • Represent MineStar performance enablement in senior leadership and governance forums
  • Build, develop, and inspire a high‑performing global leadership team
