About The Position

Shure offers a challenging, fun and rewarding summer internship program. The twelve-week program is offered to undergraduate and graduate students. We offer internships with a variety of work arrangements from onsite interns to fully remote in US. Each intern will receive a competitive salary. Additionally, Interns who are asked to relocate to Illinois for onsite internships will receive a housing stipend to cover living expenses. Applications will be collected, reviewed, and selected candidates will be contacted in late fall/early winter. The Global Logistics Intern will assist with domestic and international daily transit reports, provide status of shipments and assist with crafting Job Aides for internal use by the department. This Internship is Remote, or Hybrid based in our Niles, IL location.

Requirements

In-process of a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Supply Chain, Data Analytics or Business
Computer Literate
Data analytics and creating presentations.
Problem Solving and Decision Making.
Project Management
Applicants for this position must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Shure will not sponsor applicants for this position for work visas.

Responsibilities

Assist with the daily in transit reports to identify exceptions or delays.
Assist with tracking and tracing of freight (domestic and international).
Communicate shipments status to departments as needed.
Update internal department job aides and log documents.
Work closely with the logistics team and assist scheduling domestic LTL and FTL pick-ups
Work with the logistics team to help organize and update as needed the logistics documents housed in the shared logistics site.
