About The Position

Represent Global Logistics organization for F-35 activities associated with assigned country(ies). Participate and direct organizational interest in all Program meetings. As the central point of contact to the F-35 Program for a given country, act in an advisory role for all matters related to Global Transportation. Develop and monitor processes as designed for specified country(ies), providing guidance to other employees engaged in export/import shipping activities to ensure required support posture. Establish and implement robust processes and procedures that deliver executable solutions across core functions and the Program(s). Review and interpret export regulations, laws and requirements including, but not limited to, the International Traffic In Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Review relevant export & import authorizations for gaps and restrictions; ensure export documentation meets U.S. and foreign country regulations and requirements. Audit and evaluate current policies, procedures, and documentation for compliance with government laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • Experience with global logistics
  • Experience in supply chain management, freight forwarding and/or regulatory compliance.
  • Advanced level of Microsoft Excel
  • Experience developing solutions to logistics problems of unusual complexity which require a high degree of ingenuity, creativity, and innovativeness.
  • Experience establishing robust procedures that deliver executable transportation solutions across core functions and programs.

Responsibilities

  • Manages all import/export international transportation activities through partnering with in country transportation and ITC team.
  • Coordinate transportation through interfacing with Customs Brokers, Freight Forwarders and other service providers to effectively provide import/export instructions and oversight.
  • Investigates and resolves transportation problems, questions or complaints received from other units of the company, customers, government regulatory agencies, etc.
  • Interface with local military representatives and local governing agencies to support transportation/logistics requirements
  • Assist in the execution of all required licensing and permits associated the exportation and importation of military related products.
  • Partner with ITC to execute compliance programs and tools designed by International Trade Compliance to increase awareness and knowledge of compliance policies, laws and regulations.
  • Ensures regulatory reporting requirements are met for import/export.
  • Provide regulatory guidance and oversight to company personnel on import/export and transportation issues.
  • Act in advisory role as liaison between Core Traffic, International Trade Compliance, Procurement, Global Sustainment, Program Management and others.
  • Responsible to monitor upcoming changes to import/export regulatory requirements and proactively develop transportation / logistics operating plans to support compliance.
  • Represent Lockheed Martin compliance interests before internal tribunals, Local Customs, Other Government Agencies (OGA) and external partners.
