Job Description: Conducts the affairs of the global marketing communications function in accordance with the vision, policies, and business plan of the company. Supervises, directs, and controls all functions and activities of NAMSA's global marketing communications team worldwide. Advises and assists the Vice President Global Marketing in developing and installing the annual Marketing business plan. Accountable for lead and demand generation across Lab and CRO Service offerings globally. Global Events: Oversee development and implementation of global event strategies with the assistance of the Global Marketing Events Manager: webinars, NAMSA Training Series, conferences, trade shows, ad hoc events and the annual Global Sales and Marketing Conference. Global Internal Communications: Partner with Human Resources and Executive Leadership Teams as necessary to develop content and messaging/value propositions for internal stakeholders to strengthen corporate initiatives. Support business development executives to close deals and generate opportunities through digital outreach and sales collateral creation. Work with the Commercial Leadership Team to define internal and external market positioning strategy Execute the plan by collaborating with cross-functional teams: Product Managers, SME's, Product Marketing, commercial operations & others Utilize data and insights to develop go-to-market strategy, solutions-focused narratives, and thought leadership content (presentations, talking points, etc.) for the BDE team Influence messaging and positioning for NAMSA Associates, clients, and external engagements (e.g. client meetings, speaking engagements, etc.) Conceive and execute on strategic initiatives to drive education and engagement, and new client conversions in alignment with strategic plans. Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or journalism. MBA strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years overall experience in successfully driving integrated marketing strategies, with technical products or services, including 5+ years of successful leadership experience.
  • Excellent communications and management skills, and experience in the use of cross-functional teams.
  • Advanced knowledge of best-in-class digital marketing strategies, including e-mail/drip campaigns, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), AI/ML Applications, Salesforce CRM, Pardot/Account Engage marketing platform & other marketing automation reporting tools.
  • Strong knowledge of print, digital, video, and online marketing strategies, concepts and marketing communications principles. Attention to detail and an eye for quality, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into effective communications strategies.
  • Excellent people and communications skills to effectively interact with Associates, strategic partners, cross-functional and global teams, Leadership/Executive Team and third parties.
  • Previous experience as a communications manager or director of marketing in the medical device, laboratory or CRO Industries.
  • Demonstrated experience in distilling strategy into go-to-market initiatives, deliverables and metrics
  • Knowledge of market trends and industry best practices for marketing B2B services. CRO industry and Lab Service experience in Medical Device industry strongly preferred.
  • Excellent people and communication skills to interact with cross functional Associates, Business Development, and clients
  • Attention to detail and an eye with the ability to translate technical capabilities into client benefits
  • Fluency in English and local language, if different, required
  • MBA strongly preferred.
  • CRO industry and Lab Service experience in Medical Device industry strongly preferred.
