About The Position

In late January we announced that Bridgefield Capital signed an agreement to acquire Philips' Emergency Care business, which includes leading brands and products like HeartStart AEDs, Intrepid and DFM100 monitor defibrillators, Tempus monitor and Tempus ALS systems, and Corsium and ECI informatics solutions. We expect the transaction to close at the end of 2025. With Bridgefield's support and building on our 40+ year legacy of growth and innovation in emergency medical technology, the Emergency Care business will continue passionately pursuing our mission of saving lives, lowering the cost of healthcare, and advancing the science of resuscitation while serving the public access AED, EMS, military, and hospital market segments. In this Global IT Leader role, you will lead IT across an agile company that has the dedicated resources needed to achieve its strategic goals, you'll have every opportunity to grow both personally and professionally and potentially make an even bigger impact on the acute care space - as well as on the consumers, patients and healthcare workers who depend on these innovative life-saving solutions.

Requirements

  • Years of experience (15+) in IT transformation roles desirably in similar/Health Tech industry.
  • Prior experience in managing IT in a M&A environment, particularly with separations or divestitures.
  • Previous project management experience, preferably in leading IT projects.
  • Technical understanding of various IT systems, infrastructure, and software.
  • Specific knowledge/experience of med device IT landscapes, operating procedures and compliance.
  • Experience managing IT suppliers, IT supplier/software contracts and license management.

Responsibilities

  • Focal point of contact between business/region/function leadership and global IT and process owning roles for any IT related concerns.
  • Stakeholder engagement with leadership in a business/region(zone)/function to define their IT strategy in alignment with strategic business objectives.
  • Participate in the strategic planning process with assigned business/region/function to understand priorities and relate to available or required IT enablers.
  • Drive qualification and quantification of business/region/function requirements.
  • Align/converge towards consolidated planning of prioritized investments.
  • Joint effort with the broader community in exploration & execution of initiatives.
  • Oversee all programs with impact on own business/region/function and possibly directly lead or coach IT streams and dependencies in their execution.
  • Collaborate with business/region/function owners for continuous improvement of IT enabled processes.
  • Evaluate IT landscape of assigned business/region/function scope and develop migration paths for consolidation & continuous improvement.
  • Provide insights of new technology developments and advice on how this can impact/contribute the business strategy.
  • Collaborate with involved leaders in business/region/function & IT for business continuity.
