About The Position

This role provides support to the Global Executive Intelligence division. The investigator uses databases and online information to conduct research. They are responsible for conducting comprehensive due diligence research and public record reviews related to individuals and entities for various clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of relevant work experience or 4+ years of work-related experience recommended.
• Corporate due diligence, compliance, legal and/or regulatory background, preferred.
• High degree of analytical skill and demonstrated proficiency in preparing actionable intelligence reports
• Demonstrated proficiency within ZipCrim preferred
• International experience preferred
• Knowledge of online research databases including Westlaw, LexisNexis or similar databases strongly preferred
• Ability to utilize intelligent technology and to adapt to and adopt new and emerging research techniques
• Ability to work independently and develop resolutions to “road-blocks” encountered during research/investigation
• Ability to discuss research requirements and subsequent results with department leaders
• Strong attention to detail
• Foreign language skills preferred
• Willingness to get involved in a wide range of administrative, research and report writing tasks as required

Responsibilities

• Research includes identity verification and a review of federal and state litigation, bankruptcies, liens, judgments, UCC filings, media searches, social media, national, federal/ state regulatory databases, verification of professional licensing, corporate information, and limited partnership filings.
• Online due diligence research to include social media, adverse media, websites, and other areas of investigative research.
• Composition of individual and corporate research reports according to client specifications based upon results of research.
• Assist leadership with the overall management of accounts as needed and requested.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.
• Other duties as assigned by senior leadership.
