About The Position

The Global Inventory Manager is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and control of inventory across 10+ global warehouses and 3PL locations. Based in Tijuana/Tecate, this role centralizes inventory visibility across ERP, WMS, and 3PL systems, leading audits, reconciliations, and investigations to safeguard data and physical stock accuracy. The Manager drives root-cause analysis for discrepancies, implements corrective actions, and travels as needed to resolve issues on-site, strengthening global inventory controls and preventing recurrence.

Requirements

  • 5–10+ years of inventory management experience across multi-site warehouse and 3PL networks, with strong audit and reconciliation expertise (cycle counts, physical inventories, variance analysis).
  • Experience supporting factory or manufacturing inventory environments preferred.
  • Strong systems proficiency across ERP, WMS, and 3PL platforms, with advanced Excel/Google Sheets capabilities.
  • Willing and able to travel frequently and work on-site in Mexico facilities; valid passport and ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. visa required.
  • Highly detail-oriented and process-driven, with strong documentation and control discipline.
  • Investigative mindset with the ability to identify root causes and resolve discrepancies effectively.
  • Strong communicator and influencer with high integrity, capable of holding site teams and 3PL partners accountable and presenting findings to leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Consolidate and maintain accurate global inventory visibility across 10+ warehouses and 3PLs, ensuring ERP/WMS and physical stock alignment.
  • Own and standardize inventory control processes, including receiving, transfers, adjustments, cycle counts, returns, and scrap governance.
  • Design and oversee cycle count programs and coordinate quarterly/annual physical inventories across all locations.
  • Lead audits and document variances, corrective actions, and site-level accountability.
  • Investigate discrepancies through structured root-cause analysis, escalating high-risk incidents with clear evidence and resolution plans.
  • Ensure item master integrity and monitor ERP/WMS/3PL integrations to prevent data failures and inventory inaccuracies.
  • Partner with Finance and Supply Chain to support valuation accuracy, reserves, allocation integrity, and audit readiness.
  • Drive 3PL performance accountability through scorecards, review meetings, and on-site visits (including U.S. travel) to resolve discrepancies and reinforce process standards.
