About The Position

The Global Innovation Leader at DuPont Water & Protection is responsible for driving critical innovation projects within the Shelter Solutions line of business. This role involves managing the new product development process and overseeing the innovation project funnel, targeting significant revenue growth opportunities. The leader will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals and market trends, while fostering a culture of innovation and enhancing the organization's capabilities to bring new products to market.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in business or marketing with strong business acumen.
  • Proven success in analyzing data to size markets and identify growth drivers.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in a B2B environment working across functional teams.
  • Experience leading new product development projects including customer insights and product launches.
  • Knowledge of innovation practices such as lean startup, agile/scrum, and needs-based segmentation.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action in ambiguous environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in startups, scale-ups, or corporate venturing.
  • Familiarity with tools such as business model canvas and value proposition canvas.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the success of critical innovation projects within the Shelter Solutions business.
  • Manage the new product development process and innovation project funnel targeting over $100MM of revenue growth opportunity.
  • Support and coach innovation project teams to prioritize critical thinking over process to accelerate innovation.
  • Ensure project information is accurate in the innovation portfolio management tool: Innovation 365.
  • Benchmark best in class innovation companies to learn and bring in best practices to the organization.
  • Conduct quarterly innovation portfolio reviews and recommend options to accelerate or stop projects.
  • Work closely with Finance to create monthly innovation dashboards demonstrating the success of launched projects.
  • Support Shelter's annual Innovation Investment Review (IIR) presentation.
  • Provide necessary tools, processes, and frameworks that accelerate the organization's ability to innovate and launch successful products.
  • Lead selected North America Strategic Growth projects directly.
